Double Silver for Zen Combat Academy

What a great weekend!

On Saturday 25th July, two of our dedicated students, Tom (16 years old) and Yahya (12 years old), represented Zen Combat Academy in the Light Sanda Competition with British Council for Chinese Martial Arts held in High Wycombe.

Both stepped onto the mats for the first time with determination, confidence and great sportsmanship, putting all their hard work and training into their fights.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that both Tom and Yahya earned second place, taking home silver medals and certificates.

Photos of Yahya and Tom both fighting in blue corners.

Competing takes confidence, commitment and the willingness to challenge yourself, and both showed exactly what the Zen Combat spirit is all about. Every fight is a chance to learn, grow and improve, making this competition another important step in their martial arts journey.

A huge congratulations to Tom and Yahya – you’ve done yourselves, your families and the whole Zen Combat family proud!

Thank you to everyone who came along for support, keep the guys focused and help make the day a great positive experience.

We’re all already looking forward to the next competition and seeing every student continue to develop both on and off the mats.

Well done, Tom and Yahya – silver medallists and brilliant competitors, fighters and family of Zen Combat! 🥈🥋
