The never ending journey of learning

Learning is a constant process of discovery – a process without end” – Bruce Lee

No matter how long you have been training, you can always learn something new.

That’s why I took on and successfully passed both the fundamentals and advanced Hatton Boxing courses and soon to pass The Elite Course.

Having a background in different Martial Arts, including Boxing and holding pads for years, I have a solid grasp but gaining these Hatton Qualifications gave me new ideas and combinations and showed me that there can be more to master.

Pad Holding

Most people see it as just a way to catch punches, but in reality, it’s an art form in itself. A good pad holder doesn’t just hold the pads – they guide, react and challenge he boxer to be better. Proper pad holding teaches fighters control, accuracy and real fight-ready technique.

It’s a skill that takes time to master, but once you get it it changes the way you see boxing completely.

That’s why I’m so excited to share what I’ve learned having completed both The Fundaments and The Advanced Hatton Boxing courses. (Soon to be The Elite course!)

Giving my existing and new students the opportunity to expand both their boxing and pad holding skills, up their fitness levels, introduce new boxing combinations and drills, making them a better fighter overall!
